My ethos:The process of getting a tattoo is just as important as the finished piece. It’s a time we connect with our bodies and truly feel present. Which is a gift in our chaotic and busy lives. You deserve time to be with and celebrate yourself and everything going on.

I started my tattoo collection in 2005 and since then, have added many more. I decorate my body as I would a scrapbook, honouring specific moments of my life. Each tattoo serves as a meaningful expression of my journey, helping me feel at home and deeply connected to myself. I have always enjoyed art as a form of self expression. I spent decades in the professional world of photography and graphic design while enhancing my unparalleled customer service. I did my first tattoo in 2018, which inspired me to pursue tattooing as a career. I secured my apprenticeship in 2020 and began working in 2021 after the lockdown ended. That was a crazy time in history! Since then, I have been fully dedicated to learning as much as possible.

Both your comfort and the artistry of the design are priorities throughout the entire process. I strive to ensure that you feel at ease while we work together to create something truly special. Tattoos evoke different emotions for everyone, and I'm here to support you. Relax and enjoy soothing music or friendly conversation. My studio space is cozy and calming, filled with a mix of antique and modern art, tattoo designs, and even snacks!

I will check in during the appointment and make adjustments to the bench, chair, your position, music, breaks, or water. It is easy to adjust so you’re comfortable. Every tattoo matters to me, big or small. It’s a privilege to create art from people's ideas. I enjoy the exchange of time, energy and ideas. The art of tattooing is sacred after all.

I love first-time tattoo experiences! I'm happy to discuss my process and answer your questions. I'll meet you where you are; just an idea is enough. I enjoy the entire process and aim to set a strong foundation for your future tattoo experiences.

I have a deep and personal relationship with grief and loss. I approach memorial pieces with care and understanding. Honouring a loved one, pet, or situation can foster a comforting connection. We can share stories, listen to their favourite music, or discuss including their ashes if desired. It’s meaningful for me to support you through this process.

Inksmith Tattoos, established over a decade ago in down town Guelph, ON, features all female artists and are an inclusive space for all. Our studio upholds strict hygiene standards, collaborating with Public Health and using high-grade supplies. I am certified through the Blood Born Pathogens course (BBP). We ensure each tattoo is not only beautiful but safely crafted and I’m happy to go over what that entails.
